I am not sure I’ve seen the design referred to here, but this blog post is upset with Costco changing the design of their Kirkland brand milk. She questions the environmental impact, but just as much the practical impact:
This morning I opened one and the opening is huge. I screwed off the cap that is enormous and tried to fill one of my babies bottles. Milk went everywhere, it was awful! My children cannot possibly get their own milk for cereal or for drinking if we buy this style container. It is the weirdest thing ever.
If it wasn’t broke, why did we fix it?
