I’m not sure if this is based on real information or just a guess, but this blog post at Baron’s quotes Trip Chowdry from Global Equities Research (which means nothing to me but I guess he’s a techno bigshot) as saying/predicting that Apple is going to start selling the iPhone at Costco for $149 in January. (Right after Christmas you’ll notice.)
I don’t know if it’s true because I’m not a bigshot in any way shape or form, but I was surprised when I started seeing the iPod at Costco so now I won’t be surprised if it’s the iPhone next.
